• It's been a tough year for the Sustained team, but despite falling advertising sales and umpteen other issues, Marc's kept plodding away, ever enthusiastic and determined to overcome the odds. Few young people not only care so much about environmental and social issues, but also have the vision to inspire and mobilse people to tackle those issues.

• Marc absolutely deserves to be commended for his efforts to make Green issues accessible to a mainstream audience. Through Sustained magazine he is a proponent of practical, realistic solutions (both at local and international levels) to the some of the most pressing problems facing the world today.

• Being in business for over 25 years, I have yet to come across a more committed, genuine, passionate person, who has first hand subject knowledge which he professionally publishes in his fantastic magazine. He lives day to day by his'green'beliefs which is why his magazine is so accurate and up to the minute.

  This nomination is my privilege.

  I hope this nomination inspires him in future projects and eliminates totally the sometimes doubts he has in his ability.

  Perhaps however the most important thing is he is a great person, who would help anybody.

• Marc has contributed to the community through his wonderful Magazine Sustained……. “Awareness"..... Not only to the business sector but to individuals. Awareness of the need to protect our environment. Awareness that every little advance makes a difference.

• Sustainability is the way forward and Marc has managed to "spread the word" through his innovative magazine Sustained.

  His dedication, commitment and true belief in this highly informative magazine are to be commended. He is, by nature, a person who passionately believes

  that unless people change the way they are living the environment will suffer.

  He is also one of the rare individuals that actually promote what he believes in, both in the business world

  and in his personal life.
