  • I believe Libby Rees deserves to win this award because the desire to help other children and young people is so sincere. At such a young age to be so concerned with the welfare of others is almost incredulous but Libby is the most genuine and tender hearted of young women. She is an inspirational role model for other young people, an example that no matter what your age, it is possible to bring about real change and help to improve the lives of others. She has used her own experiences in life, sometime painful ones, to inform the direction she has taken in working with charities and government bodies to highlight the problems faced by children in today's society. Libby started her work and campaigning at the age of nine and is now fourteen years of age, she has given so much of her free time over a five year period that I feel she has earned a place on the list of nominees.
