Nomination Tips
Step 1: Who to nominate?
- You may nominate yourself.
- You may make multiple nominations.
- Nominees may be entered in more than one category if they fulfill the criteria.
- Nominees may be entered by more than one nominator.
Step 2: Before making a nomination
- Read the rules.
- Read the criteria for each of the categories, perhaps your entrant could be entered in a number of different categories.
- For examples of other nominations and to check out the competition see the nominations so far.
Step 3: Filling in the application form
- The information given in the application forms should be accurate and concise.
- The name of the nominee and the reason given for why they should win will appear publicly on this site. For examples see the nominations so far.
- For the young social entrepreneur, social entrepreneur and social enterprise categories the judges will be looking for examples of business acumen and success alongside the achievement of social goals. If the entrepreneur/enterprise is just starting up then evidence of how they expect to achieve their social and business goals should be given.
- Each application form includes a question asking why the entrant should win. This always has the longest word limit and should be given the most attention and time.

- Let people know about your entry with our press pack.
